Founder, Chairman of Texhong Textile Group Limited
Texhong Textile Group was founded in 1997 by Mr. Hong Tianzhu. The group is one of the largest suppliers of core spun cotton yarn, specializing in the manufacture and sale of high value-added cotton textiles. It has become one of the top 10 most competitive companies in China’s textile industry, and has ranked among the top 500 companies in China. It is also listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The Group is headquartered in Shanghai, China, with a business center located in Changzhou, China and with sales offices covering major markets in China and around the world. It has large production bases in countries including Vietnam, Cambodia, Nicaragua, Mexico, Turkey, etc., bringing huge employment opportunities to the local area and stimulating the local economy. At present, the Group has hired more than 40,000 domestic and foreign employees.
In November 2017 before a state visit to Vietnam, President Xi Jinping of China published a signed article entitled “Opening up New Prospects for China-Vietnam Friendship” in Vietnam’s “People’s Daily”. The article mentioned Texhong’s contributions to Vietnam: “Texhong has been operating in Vietnam for more than ten years. The factory built in Quang Ninh Province has created more than 7,000 jobs in the local area, and the Group is also a major taxpayer in the province.”
