El Dr. Lorange es actualmente Presidente honorario del Zurich Institute of Business Education, antiguo Lorange Institute of Business Zurich, del cual fue fundador y presidente de 2009 a 2015.

Previamente, el Dr. Lorange fue presidente de IMD, de 1993 a 2008. En la actualidad es Profesor Emérito en IMD. Fue profesor de Estrategia en IMD y titular de la Cátedra Nestlé y posteriormente de la Cátedra Kristian Gerhard Jebsen de Transporte Internacional.

Con anterioridad fue presidente de la Norwegian School of Management (BI) en Oslo. El Sr. Lorange colaboró con la Wharton School, Universidad de Pennsylvania durante más de una década en diversas responsabilidades, incluyendo director del Instituto de Management y Estudios Internacionales Joseph H. Lauder y del Centro de Estudios Internacionales de Management William H. Wurster, así como Profesor de Management Multinacional Cátedra William H. Wurster. También enseñó en la Sloan School of Management (M.I.T.), IMEDE (ahora IMD), y en la Stockholm School of Economics.

El Sr. Lorange forma parte del Consejo de varias empresas incluyendo Marsoft International A/S, Keystone y Globalpraxis.

Recibió su educación de grado en la Norwegian School of Economics and Business, obtuvo un Master en Gestión de Operaciones en la Universidad de Yale, su Doctorado en Administración de Empresas en la Universidad de Harvard y ha sido distinguido con 6 doctorados honorarios.

Dr. Lorange is currently Honorary President of the Zurich Institute of Business Education, former Lorange Institute of Business Zurich, of which he was founder and Chairman from 2009 to 2015. Previously, Dr. Lorange was president IMD, from 1993 to 2008. He is currently Emeritus Professor at IMD. He was Professor of Strategy at IMD and held the Nestlé Chair and subsequently the Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Chair of International Shipping. He was formerly president of the Norwegian School of Management (BI) in Oslo. Mr. Lorange was affiliated with the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania for more than a decade in various assignments, including director for the Joseph H. Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies and The William H. Wurster Center for International Management Studies, as well as The William H. Wurster Professor of Multinational Management. He has also taught at the Sloan School of Management (M.I.T.), IMEDE (now IMD), and the Stockholm School of Economics. Mr. Lorange serves on the board of directors of several corporations including Marsoft International A/S, Keystone and Globalpraxis. He received his undergraduate education from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business, was awarded a Masters of Arts degree in Operations Management from Yale University, his Doctor of Business Administration degree from Harvard University, and has been awarded 6 Honorary Doctorates.
